Yes folks, after 3 1/2 years the mighty bucket is heading on to pastures new.

Ad went on PH classifieds yesterday and autotrader today, so will be on their website and will appear in their mag for the next 2 weeks.
Hoping to get a decent price for it as it's in good condition and has had a bit spent on it....

With a return to student life for a few year's im buying what can only be described as the ideal student car..
Landrover Discovery 3 tdv6 HSE.. Because everyone knows, a near 3 ton 7 seater 4x4 is just the car to enjoy.

Shall have it remapped and kitted out to look like a G4 challenge replica as and when i can.
Oh and will hopefully take it on a PH run as well.

Sold tonight to a couple from edinburgh.
Got higher than book price for it so im happy, could have done with a bit extra but ah well.

No John, don't need to polish it as its now in Edinburgh.
Have one lined up so just need to go get it, trip up to Elgin becons.

I hate to rain on your parade old son, but if the turbos go down, (which is highly likely), it will empty your student loan account. Or even the alternator come to that if it has ACE suspension. £750 quid thank you!

Sadly no, however. All the light's, snorkel, rack etc will be fitted to mine.

I can't afford the £18k min price tag for them or i would have got one. That and the fact there's only 37 of them in the world in RHD/LHD and i believe one got wrote off in South Africa.
