Hi Mikey. As Baz says, Gerrard is very careful with the car and the wheels and he will also fit tyres that you've bought elsewhere.

I use Gerrard at RD Tyres in the town - he has fitted tyres to my 911 and Al's Lambo with the requisite care and attention.
Is that the guy up at Pinkston Road by Port Dundas? If so another thumbs up from me, fitted tyres on AMG multispoke alloys for me without a mark - and I was very precious about them!
Just to say Gerrard at RD fitted a couple of tyres on the Impreza a few weeks back and was impressed. Great price and very careful with the wheels etc.
Went back to get the wheels on the Mondeo re-balanced as they haven't been right since I had some new tyres fitted (at somewhere else) and he got them spot on.
Would definitely recommend.

Aiday, I had a similar situation in Edinburgh, Camskill were cheaper but I had the hassle of getting them delivered and fitted. I checked fitting price with my local Kwik Fit and they price matched the same tyre, plus 20 notes a corner for fitting. Worth asking to reduce the hassle factor...
Thanks for this, £20 a corner to fit, that sounds very expensive!!
Will maybe see if Kwik Fit will prie match, I'm sure they done it before, I hate giving them any business but I can't argue with the quality of work they have done in the past.

Just checked out that Camskills site, alot cheaper than anywhere else I've seen. Any recommendations of where to get them sent to for fitting, I'm in Bearsden so somewhere resonably local would be great.
Have you tried Performance Tyres in Anniesland? If not, RD in port dundas is only ten mins from Bearsden
Just adding another thumbs up for Gerard at RD Tyres, he's a lovely guy but I've seen him far too often these last couple of years for puncture repairs or new tyres!
Another visit again this morn, tyre carefully fitted without a mark on the wheel as usual, whilst fat boy here had a double-doubler egg and scone roll in the wee café upstairs

Another thumbs up for R&D TYRES and Gerard. I have had no less than 10 tyres supplied and fitted on various Porsche this year alone.
Been a customer for nearly 20 years and he is simply the most careful and methodical guy. Your wheels are totally safe in his hands and he will always seek out the best current deal available for your selection of rubber.
An interesting story from this year was when I had a car in for some stone chip paint repairs at Arnold Clark in Kilbirnie Street in Glasgow. While it was there they had a similar car that needed a front tyre. They could not find one anywhere in the U.K. and I heard the manager telling the customer that the Michelin tyre required was not only out of stock but also no longer manufactured by Michelin.
I offered the Manager Gerards details for R&D Tyres and assured him that if anyone could source the tyre Gerard was the go to guy.
48 hours later, tyre found and fitted by R&D. As Theresa May and others say........ Simples!

does he use a road force balancer at all? Been a customer for nearly 20 years and he is simply the most careful and methodical guy. Your wheels are totally safe in his hands and he will always seek out the best current deal available for your selection of rubber.
