Gulf liveried Aston DB9

As I was close to my home (Blackness Road Dundee) yesterday around 7pm, a DB9 with full Gulf livery and 007 numbers on the sides whizzed past.

Perhaps a leftover from Le Mans?

Any other suggestions why it would be like so?

That is a very cool tribute! I saw the real thing getting pushed in to the 2009 MPH Show and it was an incredible machine.
