Are there any recruitment agencies in Aberdeen you could recommend?

I'm a recent graduate and looking for work in the commercial side of things- cost engineer; proposals engineer; estimator; or something more general like operations assistant etc.

I'm quite lucky as my outgoings are low, so I wouldn't mind volunteering for a while to get experience if anyone can suggest anything

Try Bryant, or Orion Engineering. Probably worth talking to Aberdeen Appointments Agency as well.

To be honest, once you're in a job they're all much of a muchness, they just handle your pay (depending on your arrangement, i.e. if you're working as a contractor or staff). I've never used Raeburn but I've spoken to people there about jobs and they seem pretty decent on the phone.

Cheers all, have a phone call from Bryant today, seem like nice folk.

Thanks also for the PM!

Try Brander, Hazel Eng, Bryant and Orion for more engineering style jobs.

Also get yourself onto oilcareers.com, hundreds of jobs all over UK and the world on there.

Have been with Fircroft for 7 years and have recommended them to lots of people - great service.

I would recommend SCORO solutions,

They are O+G specialists, the guys that run it are spot on and recently organised a well documented super car run for charity ;-)

That wouldn't happen to include a Mr T. Shipp, would it?

I got my first job through Raeburn, can't fault them at all.
Also heard that Fircroft are worth a look. I deal with many people employed through them daily.
