Had to pit to sort out my bumper... the front mounts had failed (prob kerb monstering) - engine temps and front tyres temps were getting pretty high... never mind all the smoke and sparks! let the green Brian Downie Impreza by then pitted.... gave away the 1st place.

Race 2 - Bogged down on the line but still made places from the back of the grid. Over took Fee on lap 2 and then power came into its own as my road tyres decided 20laps were a tall order http://youtu.be/YpWumOoiXZE

Race 1 I finished 3rd in class (last LOL), Fee won her class.
Race 2 I won my class and Fee finished 2nd in hers.

Aha! I was up here too. I was actually saying to myself I'd go have a look at the skyline and the radical ( my fav cars) I was running Emma Bruce in the Mini- her dad drives the evo 10. I was wearing a purple-red hoody looked like Justin bieber and was with a brown hair girl .

Wish I had came over now . I also saw the driver of the skyline jacking the car up. I don't think I have seen a woman do that at KH before :0.

i think it was..... KH wanted to do a wee feature but I didnt have time to get pics for them. We were also going to swap cars and get an overall aggregate time but we decided against it. Maybe next time we can see who is the fastest overall...

why not race in a single make series, like the legends, aly hunter does good hire drives and his cars are well built

we have two races cars, it would seem a bit crazy to then hire a further two to have a race :lol: That'd cost loads wouldnt it?

I did ask Kenny MacLeod about hiring minis but are the Legends much cheaper?

If you want info about minis I'm your man , Im good mates with Kenny and I used to sleep in his RV at most races. To hire his Mini it will set you back 1k for the car. You pay for tyres, fuel, damage etc. his website is gpamini.com but for the love of god please don't run with Minimax. Bring it to us we are the most successful team in Scottish minis.

Didnt both McMurdos race in Legends at the same time?


If I was hiring a Mini it would be the spare Bruce car. Under £1k including mechanic and it placed on the podium last time out at Croft and top 5 in the second race.

caroline and steph have raced on the same bill last year, mum in leggy, daughter in mini, not in my time have maw and paw raced together

hearing a lot of bad press about minimax these days, they do seem to spend a lot of time spannering, yet go past the team sleigh area and they are usually drinking tea

Ian and Caroline raced together for one season in Legends, they're both gonna be out in the classics later this year possibly.

I'm actually running Stephanie in her mini this year. She has come on great through training from us and some karting. Her mum Caroline rolled her Austin after contact in a Qualifiing session.

George never hired it alex let him use it for croft as a thank you for all the work he had done for him in the week on the run up to it.

Tbh I'm just the mechanic and I was not at the croft meeting so didn't really know what happend with the car in terms of how he got it . What you racing ?

Bit gutted i'll miss it - would have been interesting to see how Clark gets on in the E36. I'll be away and my rear suspension is off getting rebuilt.
