Checked the tyre pressures as I haven't checked them since getting the new tyres fitted on the MR2. They're T1Rs and have softer sidewalls than the stock RE050s. New tyres give a smoother ride and no tramlining, but seems to have robbed some of the response and feedback, and the rear of the car feels rather vague when cornering so thinking they might be underinflated... they were actually overflated at 36-40psi
I've set them to 28 front/34 rear and see how it goes...

T1r's can take 250-300 miles to bed in. I have had 2 full sets on my current car and once beded in were fantastic even in the wet. They were attrocious in the snow though.

I've heard about that, only done 100 miles so far. Drove to work this morning but no chance to hoon so couldn't push the tyres to test the new tyres.Assuming I don't replace it this year this will be my winter car as well...
