Yup, affa' deer's butt (or maybe flank). Hadn't used the masser for maybe 6 weeks and had a meeting in the Mdlands. Would normally fly to Leeds but BMI have canned the route - so, since it was decent weather forecast to I thought I'f take the car for a wee spin. Unfortunately the Borders' wildlife chose the same time for a wee stroll in the road round a blind bend, and the stupid beast ran into the car and not away from it frown

So, the previously unmarked dry-miles-only masser now has chunks of Bambi stuck between the panels grumpy

And what's the progress on thr car 3 1/2 weeks on?
Zero. Nothing. Zilch. Nada.

Bodyshop claims to have sent photos to insurer..twice. Insurer claims to be waiting on them. I'm stuck in the middle with both saying the problem is with thw other side. It's my daughter's gradution next week and I'd hoped to take the masser up - that ain't going to happen frown

D@mned insurers. Quick enough to want top dollar for a policy, but cr@p when it comes to dealing with claims.

Given all the cash I've put into insurance policies over the years and never had a claim, I'd have been far better just paying third party, putting the difference in a jar by the bedside and then using that to pay my own repairs if/when they happen.

Grrrrr

No name and shame of course, but I'd never choose to fly Air France, and these particular initials seem to be jinxed. Just off to do some soldering....
