Alloy Wheel Refurb Aberdeen?

Hello there Folks,

My lovely girlfriend Kerbed the alloy on my Civic type R the other day.........

Just wondering if anyone could recommend a decent place in and around aberdeen, the best price I have been quoted is around 70quid from the the mobile smartalloy repair van (does anyone have any experience of this service?)

I'd give it 8 outa 10 as there is a small run & a few other pimple like bits but overall pretty good & a very quick turnaround (& of course the price is great value)

I would recommend them. My wheels were done to a very high standard. I have one or two pimples over the four wheels but nothing that detracts from them I don't think. It turned out about £75 a wheel for my 16's which when you consider the same day turn around and finish is pretty good.

Also this is probably a dumb question, but can the refurb be done in-situ (or at least within a day) or does the tyre need to be taken off and wheel taken away for a day or two?

Wheel specialist can turn around in a day. Leave car and they will remove and refit tyres etc.

I got mine done by smart techniques, he has a mobile service. Did my whole set in a day, job was first class, i can post before and afters if required.

I got my 20" wheels done with black chrome at Coatech in Carnoustie for 270. Left car in morning and picked up same evening, completely satisfied with finish and service. Wheel specialist in Aberdeen wanted 470 for same.

Go for it, do you have any contact details?

Is there any places in the Aberdeenshire/Inverurie area? (asides from PPS, who are excellent but would prefer a quick turnaround). I'm just looking to repair light kerbing damage/scuffs.

Just got it now, found his details on another thread. Anyway called him at lunchtime, came round in the afternoon due to a cancellation. Finish looks great and he even took the time and effort to get the colour (matt/satin black) to match.
