Through the average speed zone, at Newbridge.

Up my chuff as I was overtaking a few cars before the first SPECS, then fled off into the distance at 15mph faster than I was going, once I'd completed me overtakes.

Average speed must've been >55 mph for camera to camera.

Not any of us I hope



On a side note: has anyone had any post recently for exceeding the limit there? I remember a story a few months ago on Radio Forth news about a few dozen people being fined, and the fastest was 70 odd MPH.

Are they still 'on'?

I set my average speed thing to zero as I'm entering it, usually average about 41 through.

They certainly seem to be working in Fife - 3,300 drivers caught so far

20 per day/1 every hour or so isn't that many I suppose.

Interesting that the overall average was 39 mph - I thought it would be lower than that due to congestion, and most people doing an indicated 40ish

My mates Mum works for the "Safety Camera"

They caught someone going through them Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. To and from work.

Landed in court becuase they clocked up 30 points in one week before he got his first letter!
