The 3rd Wednesday is sneaking up on us very quickly this month! It is this week.

Some things to think about:

Where do we meet? It was suggested last month we change venue with the longer days.

So. Views please.

1. Stay at the Blythswood? Pros: handy; Parking; we are not banned. Cons: It's expensive; parking together. Going out and looking at others cars.
2, Dakota Eurocentral: Pros: Parking together. Looking at others cars. Cons: We are banned; being able to sit together. Expensive
3. Transport museum. Pros. Big carpark etc; New to us. Cons: No food or drink available as it will be closed. Those bloody traffic lights to get near it.
4. ?????? Any other ideas?

Are we actually banned from Dakota? i thought they said we could go back? We'd need the front area parking again, that was always good smile

The Dakota is better for parking but they might not like us back there.

I'm not sure where to go. Shall leave that to others. smile

Rain forecast for Wednesday. May be better to be in doors? the transport Museum closes at 5pm and there is no catering on site.

We could shelter under the eaves but not sure if the security people would chase us away?

Any views?

could park right in front in dispaly area?

Might be easier to just stick to the blythswood for this one if the weather looking to be crappy. Maybe look at it again for May? Considering my street looks like a grit bomb has just gone off and the car is shiny clean don't fancy taking it out right now, so my vote is blythswood smile

John

I thought the May meeting was going to be in your new palatial garage????

Sounds like it has to be the Blythswood!

Andrew and I did spend quite a bit of time trying to find venues when we started this up and struggled to get anywhere that met our criteria

Blythswood it is then. Usual area unless they have another party/event that us minions cannot join in with.

I can’t make tonight so I’ll keep my opinions on venue out of it.

I should be back in the game next month, see you all then.

There has been virtually no feed back on this meeting tonight so not sure if it is an idea to go ahead?

Think is safer to cancel it tonight?? Reshedule for next week? or possibly a differnt idea? Invade the trasport museum carpark early one weekend and use their cafe too?

Hi Paul, Think Mike and Kim were coming tonight too, maybe people just haven't been posted about their attendance. Surprised to not have seen Tony posting. You wan't to just go ahead and see how many turn up?

I'll be there after all. Need to get some wedge back from someone in Bothwell St. laugh

Decided against taking Porsche Edinburgh's kind offer of kicking the new Boxster tyres.

OK guys

See you tonight, usual place and time. I think andrew may still be looking after the Hound of the Baskervilles beast and may not feel safe to leve it unattended near munchable humans!
