Thought I'd post a link to this 7.2 mb wmv 'bullet cam' vid of a drive up the pass to Applecross from the front of the 996 Turbo.

BTW - Driving within the national speed limit, and posing no threat to:
infants/prams/OAP's/MP's/goats/sheep/MEP's/caravans

...OK, maybe caravans

Aye, top bit of road . . .

A year ago I bought a wee bullet cam with the intention of doing something similar with one of my fave local roads . . . you've reminded me to get my *rse in gear and get it done ;-)

Watched the clip last night- excellent, really enjoyed it. Great car, roads, scenery etc. Thanks for posting it. Glad to see i'm not the only one who regularly takes the camcorder out in the car!

Steve, just found your vid. Excellent. Have you moved to Shieldaig full time yet?
Ali & I are moving to Skye in October after our wedding.
Also been speaking to a PHer in Elgol.
Had to sell Chimaera unfortunately to fund the move.
Going up over the Bank Hol for the weekend.
Regards
Tony H

Hi Tony

Rebuilding the house up here, so spending time in the Lake District whilst the build happens. Up and down for the next year.

Have fun on Skye. (And If you get some good weather I HIGHLY recommend the Rodel Hotel on Harris - best food in the Hebrides).
