Hopefully by weekend all the panic merchants will have a full tank and garages will get back to normal but more than likely they'll come back for another £5 worth ARGH!

A work colleague's just back from Stirling - she tried to fill up on the way out of Falkirk but 3 garages were dry of diesel: the one near the Coop in Carron, the one just off the roundabout at the motorway junction in Larbert, and one other that I've forgotten. She eventually got diesel at Morrisons in Stirling but only after queuing for 15min. Bloody idiots causing this.

I've got 1/3 of a tank in the Z4 which pretty much renders it useless, and approx 1/2 tank in the campervan with a holiday planned next week. Flipping fantastic.

Mrs T and I are off up North at the weekend, so I hope the craziness hasn't spread up there (especially with the fuel consumption of the Focus, mightn't make it back home!)

I was there about half 12, they were queued to the roundabout, hadn't made it as far as the main road at that time. Chumps.

I was hoping to use it as an excuse to fill the tank of the Stang today as I am on week 5 of a 6 week driving ban from the doctor after c-section, but "miss organised me" filled the bloody tank before Elise made her way into the world!!

Dammit!! One just more week to go!!! rofl

Half a tank in the Zed, so that will probably be good for 10 or 12 miles smile

Couldn't believe the queue at Sainsbury's last night - want to laugh at the muppets for panic buying, but when it finally comes to queueing all day to fill the tank and finding the pump is dry, I guess I will be a little less cheerful about the situation frown

Both BP stations in airdrie are out of petrol.
Diesels fine though so brimmed the bucket, sneaky bandits stuck 3p on the price.
Was under 1/4 tank anyway so might as well.

will soon be seeing people use frying oil in place of diesel and breaking into Micras to steal all the petrol in their tanks!

Does anyone on here use a mass public transportation systems where one gets a transient seat occupation permit in exchange for a non refundable deposit?

Shell at Shotts is fine if you are in dire need.

I just went on as I was passing, needing petrol anyway. Didn't seem any different to usual.

Fine around Fort William.

Folk will regret telling me I'm mad for owning 4 cars: 4 cars means 4 tanks of fuel.

I'm heading to the Outer Hebrides tommorrow in a motorhome! Hope I manage to reach Oban. If there's a problem finding diesel once I get off the mainland I'll be well p!ssed off.
Taking my 72yr old Mum and wee girls aged 5 and 3!
Might have to spend the whole week on Barra.

Drove through aberdeen tonight and there were lots of queues at all the stations I saw. I was intending to fill some petrol cans for the lawnmower yesterday but I didn't want people to think I was one of "those" people stocking up.

Hopefully the panicers will calm down soon.
