Does anyone else get this,
i seem to have in the past as well as today.

Before i'd seen a massive PH sticker over the back of a saxo in edinburgh (this was about 3 years ago) but had never seen the car at meets or at trackdays so wasn't sure who it was.

Today was coming home from work about 5:30ish down past Alexandra Parade in Glasgow and saw a Ph sticker on the rear bumper of a shiny black R32 Golf, but again have never seen the car/person before.

do we have lots of lurkers who have the stickers or do people just by the stickers cause it looks "cool" yet aren't on the forum?
As cars i have seen at trackdays & meets hardly ever have PH stickers

Really should get one for the back of my Helmet and have my username under it.

Very random post but ach well!

I do actually think there are thousands of lurkers. Maybe hundreds in Scotland. I've spoken to guys who are members, joined to sell cars and part, but didn't know there was a Scottish forum.

Aye, you'd be amazed how many non forumers use the classifieds.

"lurkers" hehe

Next time stop them in the middle of the road and demand to know their username under punishment of removing the sticker.

Stickers can be bought from the shop on front page but they seems to be less choice since they swapped over who ran the shop.

Kieran, your name rings a bell but drawing a blank will need to see why we know each other next run.
And no ollie its not from dogging or anything dodgy, well unless he has a hot sister!

I had one guy approach me at a petrol station and randomly ask... "oh you must be Stang on PH" I asked him his username only to be told he was a lurker and has never registered. I had no stickers on the car at that time so a good guess. laugh

So helloooo wavey if you still lurk.

I have a sticker, but I got it when I attended my first run!

I have had a couple of people approach me about the car but never once have they mentioned the ph sticker! It's always nice to get compliments on the car, whether it's because of the ph sticker or not!

Would've been better off with an Alfa in terms of reliability to be fair! rofl

Oh I wouldn't say that. We fed it new oil , filters and plugs and a cambelt for peace of mind. Brilliant reliability so as not to confuse girly types. wink

A discreet Scottish Pistonheads sticker would be a great idea. I think. Generally I'm not a fan of stickers and for that reason alone have never put a PH sticker on any of my vehicles as they mostly were way too big for my taste. There seems to be a poor selection available in the PH shop now. There must be someone here who is in the Print/Design business, surely?

Could be done.

FarnandBaz got some made up recently for the Gumbaw, may be the man to speak to for contacts to get them printed.

Lawsome is a pretty dab hand at the old design side of things.

That or chuck up a design of your own and we can pick one.

Garlick might not like that? Perhaps asking for the Scottish one to comeback?

Ah, do you mean an actual Scottish PH one?

Gotcha. Aye, permission needing granted. but chuck up ideas and submit them to Herr Garlick he might just be able to get the sticker manufacturer to start punting them out?
