It really depends on what you're looking for.

Well in that case The Saracen Head is quite popular with sports fans.

Seriously, you need to give more of an indication of what you're looking for. The bars and clubs are so varied.

If you're moving into the flats in Oswald St, there is a wee pub on the corner of Argyle St and Waterloo St, the Waterloo Bar. I've always wondered what it's like inside, but always seems busy when I pass it. Doesn't look like students going in and out.

Na, got a place in Merchant City.

Might pop along to that one by the Oswald Street flats, mate is staying there this weekend.

Na from what I hear you would be better off for chicks if you stay away from Oswald Street and stay around the Merchant City wink

They're not too studenty...

You really need to narrow down what kind of places/night out you like, then recommendations can be made.
