Morning all. Struggling to word this correctly but ill try haha. Yesterday the strong winds in ellon nearly ripped my door off and now im left with a slightly saggy drivers door and a snapped folding hinge in the middle. I was wandering if anyone could suggest a decent bodywork or place where I might get someone to look at it and possibly fix or point me in right direction after analysis. Currently in old aberedeen and google is ste and nae throwing up much help frown Thanx

Kinghorn have done two jobs for me. Fixed my boot after being bumped into and sorted a rusted front wing. Top guys and flawless work. Would definitely recommend!

Mind a bank loan if your going to Kinghorn!
I used Paint technic for my small ding over xmas, or there are smart refinishers in Dyce to name a couple.

Expencive but it shows.

Tried to deal wih Paint Technic, but they tried to convince me teh whole wing, door, bonnet would need done so it would blend in. No such problem at KH. Not naming and shaming as i've heard they have done good jobs but i'm just not in a hurry to use them.

Plus, occasionally some exotica in kinghorn. F430 scud in carpark last time I went. didn't look like repair work though, nom.

Kinghorn are the local approved bodyshop for Porsche and Land Rover, amongst others. Not as cheap as others maybe but I guess its how you value quality and service...personally, worth every penny.

Oh definitely, there is a reason there is always exotica outside the place. if its insurance paying for it OP go for it, my situation was a cash job and I couldn't afford Kinghorn thats all.

First was insurance job after accident. The wing was out of pocket but got cash towards it, thankfully. totally agree it is expensive though.

Thanks all. Went in and got an estimation from KH and the estimator told me id be 15 for the part and about an hour for labour. He also advised me go to my suzuki dealer for the job as the hinges were fine. it was the failstaff(?) Forgot the part name already haha. Ill get it checked tomorrow wink

When I needed a partial respray of the Land Rover following some vandalism I got a quote from KH. Unfortunately the insurance company refused to pay KH's rates and insisted on their local approved bodyshop....Autospray in BoD.

Thats what happens when you plump for the cheapest insurance quote on price comparison websites. There is always a catch!

I used paint technic a few years ago when my car got attacked by a run-away spool. They were excellent. Work was finished when they said it would be, price was good and the work was flawless. Would certainly use them again.
