Hi guys,

Can anyome recomend me some classic car hire companys in and around the Glasgow area for my wedding next March. I'm ideally looking for something like a classic Rolls or Jag.

I've found a couple so far, Ecosse Classic Wedding Cars and Waterside Weddings who both do the sort of thing we want, just wondered if there was any more worth looking at.

Thanks in advance.

I can thoroughly recommend Waterside, I hired their Rolls Royce Phantom for my wedding day, ended up talking to the owner David about our joint love of cars, and ended up chauffeuring for him at weekends for a couple of years afterwards!

A big selling point of them is the size of their fleet, breakdowns DO occasionally happen with older cars no matter who you book through, but they always have a backup ready - he often has to help out other smaller car hire firms that suffer problems & don't have a backup.

ETA sorry if the above sounds like an advert!! I don't work for them any more but can still heartily recommend them!

I rented two Jag's from Waterside for my wedding. Very good service and a fair few cars to choose from.

Thanks for the replys.

We are going to see waterside and eccosse classic cars when we are up in Glasgow over easter. Although Catherine is Glasgow born and bred we currently live in Fleet hampshire so it makes it that bit more difficult getting things organised.

I really appreciate the feedback from 2 previous customers! smile

Cheers!

If you're making a trip to view cars (irrespective of which company), my top tip is view midweek, people often go to view at weekends forgetting the popular cars are normally out on hire at the weekend!

I've got an 1935 RR and the 1950's bus booked for my wedding in March 2012 from Waterside, great selection I thought.
