Johnston motors - Stirling

Evening chaps,

Does anyone have any experience in dealing with this garage. They have a car in stock I'm quite keen on but wondered what they were like before I drive up to Stirling.

Never had a dealing with them but they are based in one of the nice areas(IMO) of Stirling.

Most of their stock is trade ins direct from the local Mercedes and BMW dealerships so should be of a relatively high standard. He usually has a nice cross section of cars each time I pass.

Find that hard to believe - mostly looks like Auction bought stuff to me. Prices look ok.

I was warned off them once - but that was by another dealer so took with a pinch......

Ah well. You seem to know more than me. I'm just going from what I know from 14 years working as 'weekend boy' in a semi local main dealer but have no affiliation or vested interest etc.....'caveat emptor' would be the words I'd use.

I know of a couple of people who bought cars from them, no problems. I've only sold them a car and they gave more than I was being offered on trade-in with another dealer.
