What happened to this event starting from Blythswood square?
Imagine Glasgow council think its too much hassle for them having something like this happening in the city centre.

I think the opportunity to do something with Clydebank and also the sheer number of spectators that showed up last year plus issues like having to close roads just made this the better option.

Nice pics of my rides outside the Beardmore on that link... shame I was stuck in Schipol airport at the time.

That’s such a shame. It was a lovely event to have in the city centre this year. I can’t imagine anything like the same numbers trekking out to Clydebank for it.

Its on a Sunday though, what do they need open roads for on a Sunday?
