Anyone know of a jetwash around the center of aberdeen?

Either one where some boy does it or one to do yourself just need to get the ton of salt off the car.

Torry one is really good. Get the one in the corner, works best.

Torry isn't Aberdeen though is it?

"Seagull Island" is a foreign country. wink

There's also the arc car wash on North Esplanade West (off market street and near the BP petrol station). Only go there if you're ok with swirls galore and your car isn't too low though!

Otherwise I'd go to the one in Torry (yes, it is in Aberdeen) but for the love of god, do not use the brush on your paintwork! The brush is ok for cleaning the wheels though smile.

Can't see that being the case given that ...

  • You've got to get there over water.
  • The residents speak a different language (and, no, I don't mean Polish).
  • There's a marked difference in culture and customs.
  • There's a pervading odour as soon as you get over the river.
  • I once got chinned in The Double Two.
I jest of course and mean no offence to the fine burglars burghers of Torry.

Cheers,

Eric smile

The mentioning of you getting, 'chinned' somewhere I must admit doesn't surprise me but I digress and I am also going way off topic so I shall leave it there as I'm sure the OP has sufficient information to find a jetwash within the city boundaries of Aberdeen City by now smile

Good man Willy!

You’ve managed to reach a level of pomposity I couldn’t have imagined.

Did they perform your humour bypass under a general or a local anaesthetic?

I can assure you that I am far from pompous however I shall thank you for your kind words anyway :}.

Neither, I am sorry to disappoint. I naturally have no grasp of anything that is perceived to be humorous. I do hope you can soon get used to my serious opinion towards all matters at some point.

Shall we leave it at that and no longer wander further off topic?
I'm happy to do so smile.

In retrospect, I think it would be unfair of me not to engage your rapier wit and command of written English.

En garde!

You’re a fud ... but please don't have an épée.

There was no bypass required, reading a few of your posts and the pomposity embeds itself...

Graham, that's a tad ambiguous.

Do you refer to me or the ither boy (the spoon)?

If it's me then I hope your next jobbie is full of low specific activity scale.

Cheers,

Eric smile

Cheers, I went out for a wee shufti at lunchtime and found it. Feller washing a black vantage when I arrived, not anyone on here is it?

There are a couple down at the end of King Street (towards Bridge of Don I think) at the BP and Shell garages, I have always used them smile
