Damp specialist recommendations?

Anyone know a good damp specialist in or near N.Lanarkshire area?

We've just bought a new (old) property that needed to be checked out. I asked a surveyor mate who recommended Michael Caldow who owns Rowallan TDS (01563 529716).

He charges a £50 inspection fee which I believe is taken off of any work thats required but in our case gave us a cleanish bill of health and some good advice.

unfortunately there is no clean bill of health on our house. Obvious the problem is.

AS a surveyor I have used and would highly recommend, Wise Property Care. No charge to visit and report and all the guys are extremely helpful.

We also use R+S in work and they seem to get a good name as well.
