Dizzy blonde, completely clueless on motors and needs some help, her current wheels are way too big for the car and has had the rear come away. Long story but her hubby put them on (he passed away last year).

I'm looking to see if any of the ph'ers can suggest place to sort. Her 3 series (2000) needs some new wheels / tyres - looking to see if any kind soul has some suitable 16" inch wheels that would be up to the job + tyres on the cheap, she's pretty skint so not looking to spend much, any suggestions ?

Since its now 2 degrees and the lady does not sound like she enjoys rear wheel drive snow fun I would recommend some of these - wheels and winter tyres:

I know it'll probably upset some, but how about U Pull It in Inverkeithing? They have a good range of BMWs in their pick a part section, bound to be some suitable rims there and if the tyres are an issue, set of four new mid rangers from Camskill (or similar) won't cost too much? Failing that, try D-Tune, a wee independent BMW breakers in Lochgelly?

What area is your sis-inlaw from?
If someone knows the pcd and offset of wheels that will fit, then that will help. If she is is fairly close to me, then i would be happy to collect some wheels/tyres for her in my van and fit them on for her. Gumtree is probably the best place to look, unless anyone on here has any that are just lying about.
