Independent car hire places that are kind to young drivers?
Discussion
Are there any, especially near Glasgow?
Boulevard won't hire to me unless I provide my own insurance. I'll be 21 at the time of hire. Don't want anything fancy, a Corsa will do, for a couple of days.
Big hire firms like Europcar and Hertz will let me rent a car however their young driver surcharge nearly doubles the cost.
