Advice reqd on Scottish Recruitment Agencies/ Headhunters
Discussion
I originally posted this in the job forum, but it's really a bit of local knowledge I require from the Ecosse PH'ers.
After 9 months living in Glasgow and travelling 1000 miles each week to the office in Berkshire (where we lived previously), it's time for a change. I am looking for something with a head office base in Scotland with a role in the sales account management field. I have many years experience in Food/ Non-Food/ Technology industries.
I have the usual profiles on Linked In, Grocerjobs, S1jobs, Monster, etc, but looking for more personal contact as I still believe that is how jobs are found. The main issue with that is I don't know any recruitment contacts up here to start the search with.
Any ideas would be much appreciated please

I work for an agency (who mainly advertise on S1, funnily) that has a Sales & Marketing function and has a Glasgow & Edinburgh office?
If working in this sector has taught me anything, is that if you are looking for a new job, it is go for a SME-sized agency that will actually listen and more likely be able to fit your needs better, not just 'find you a job'.
PM me if you want offline info/advice. Unbiased of course
