If we're not doing a PH Ecosse/Scottish Elises Dinner then it is a possible but to be honest a well attended local dinner would be better - our own awards and local banter based on the year past has its merits.

Not sure this year A, but I wasn't welcome at the Scottish table last year so I expect that would be the same this year if I did go. Although I still said 'hello' to a few folk...sure I even bumped rumps with one


Just a shame some people are so petty, esp when all you were trying to do was help them out

I am also watching the Pennies Pen I "was" thinking if there was enough interest how about hiring a 9 seater Ford/Renault and just going as one lot?? Would need to watch for the weather tho.

I had to fly from Edinburgh, but the flight was just over an hour...not to bad when you are 'slightly' hungover

If I was going and if this was happening, I would need to drive. I don't drink anyway, so wouldn't mind. I'm sure it would work out cheaper than £59 each too.

We'll be making a 3-day trip out of it like we did last year, stopping partway there on Friday and somewhere else on the way back north on the Sunday. Breaks the journey up nicely. I just need to decide where ...

Baz has already hinted that you do not know your left from your right, so would that be a good idea.

I would also be driving as I wont be drinking either. Would just need to see how many there is that were up for it.
