Just replaced my CLK55 AMG Cabriolet with this - more miles expected with work over the coming year demanded a slighly more sensible choice. Was a shame to see the old girl go, but the new car is lovely - completely different experience, no V8 rrrrrrroooooaaaaaAAAAARRRRRRRRR but still pretty satisfying.

So Ecurie, do you have any ties with Ecurie Ecosse?

I have tried in the past to get a website sorted based on the history of Ecurie Ecosse but have not had much luck.

Spoke to Graham Gauld a few years ago about it but he was reluctant at the time for reasons i'll not post up.

Would still love to get involved in one as there is so much history and very little of it on the web!

I stay about 5 minutes from Hugh McCaig's house and you can often hear him taking some old piece of history out for a spin.

Thanks Guys

Chimune - I'm not sure about the SE GTA meet - is that SE of Scotland or England?

71Not out - Alas, I don't have any links to the team, but am very interested in its history. Sounds like you have had some good experiences!

No it didn't frown it just wasn't getting used for what it should! Too many motorway and not enough track!

Eventually the small boot and just general driving of it got the better of me, so got something more comfywink
