Going to be up there on Saturday for 8 hours.

I have on my list as follows, in order of priorities.

A686
Buttertubs Pass
B6270
B6277
B6276
B6160

Are there any other roads that I should be going on, preferably with lots of twisties, rather than long straights (the kind that are suited for a VXT).

cheers

Leyburn > Hawes is a nice run, might be a bit out of your way, but you could carry on to Sedbergh & up, especially if you've got 8hrs to spare.
Agree with Richmond > Kirkby Stephen - mind you, all of the roads round there get filled with charming caravans at the weekends.
Try the NE board as well - most of the roads you'll be on are in Durham and they'll probably know that end of things a bit better

Just saw this so probably too late. If you do take the A684 Bedale-Leyburn-Hawes road watch out because the BiB are targeting it as it is a bikers favourite and there have been some fatals on it recently.

Not surprised - had a few heart-in-mouth moments with bikes cutting corners and nearly my bonnet, usually just the other side of Aysgarth. Never good to hear of anyone crashing anything, though.
