Could anyone suggest a local (to York) wheel refurbishment place. I think I'll need more than the usual sand and spray job that the mobile people offer (one of the wheels is fairly scuffed).

Thanks!

Darren.

Harrogate Horseless did recommend someone to me a while back who was based in York. Can't find the number at the moment, but if you ring HHC they should have his details. I think he was going to charge about £50 per wheel.

Thanks for that. I'm down at HHC next week anyhow, so I'll ask them about it then.

A while ago I was thinking of having my MR2 wheels refurbished.

A local mate (Woodlesford Nr Leeds) recommended someone the Leeds based BMW & Merc dealers use. Turning, laquering, painting, special BMW finishes etc

Sold the MR2 and bought the Chim (Best thing I ever did... well car related anyway)so never got them done.

I will get the details tomorrow and post.

Regards
