Hope everyone else got home OK.

I know it was a bit of a mess in the beginning, but we had a really good day out in the end.

What happened to you JSG, Where on earth did you get to?!

Great to meet everyone, looking forward to seeing the pics Dave.

I managed to get some video footage in the end (camera mounted to passenger seat), unfortunately it's nearly all of sunday drivers in their metro's

Still fancy a Griff, but the amount some of you guys were having to slow to not bottom-out was slightly concerning!

Sy

Oh, and if anyone wants to see those track-day videos I was talking about, they're on my site: -

Binbrook Airfield (4 videos)

Silverstone (1 video at the bottom of the page)

As posted on the other thread...

Sorry for dashing off - got a phone call about the alarm going off at home, so I had to dash back & check it out. Turned out to be nothing. Pah! Didn't have anybody's number to let 'em know what was going on.

Was good to meet you all though, and will definitely be playing out again in the near future (although possibly with a different toy!)

Hope you all had a great drive after that point...

I'm not going to advertise it for another few days yet - I'm having it serviced at TVR Power next Thu, and will spend some time touching up the stone chips on the nose as soon as BMW get the paint in for me (tomorrow/Fri). Other than that, it's ready to go in perfect condition as soon as someone makes me a decent offer on it.

Bldy job worries. Thankfully, I know I'm weak willed and won't last two minutes without a nice car on the drive. I did spot a nice 2nd hand 4.2 V8 Audi A8 for £7k on Autotrader, though... that might tide me over till summer arrives & brings both long-term employment and something newer & shinier to play with along with it.

Was putting off telling you guys - I rang up Nick at Detagglio yesterday & pulled out.

As soon as I've got a new car (that proves reliable), I'm hoping to sign up again, but I can't justify what will end up costing £2k+ when I've just moved house for a job that might not be here this time next week. Think it's time to get that consultancy I've always fancied set up...
