There are rumours that the Holmfirth Goddess does indeed strike a daunting pose behind the wheel of a TVR... along with tales of bestockinged yorkshire puddings, mad sheiks and a vandalised gatso...

... I have however yet to see any photographic evidence of such a quiet night out in the north

You were all out on Saturday...

Saw two red Griffs in Holmfirth in 2 minuites, is it a record.

First guy looked happy, the other one though, looked dead misserable. Can't understand it, car looked great, sounded even better, top down and the sun was shining, what more could you wish for.

Which one were you?

Unless one of the guys was wearing blue eyeshadow, rollers and scarf, it wasn't Burriana

What, both with the roof down? What time?

Are you sure they were different cars?

... first one could've been me looking miserable cos I couldn't figure out where to get me nice nylon house coat from, second could've been me looking cheerful cos I'd just had a sucessful raid on the charity shop

Nice pics!

The sight of Nora shooting past me at warp speed on the M1 with 'her' chin fixed firmly on the steering wheel, in the dark with the hood down will stay with me forever. Along with Adam telling me we were all to digress from the kitchen to the living room

Hope no pics surface of me in mid gyration / jive with my souped up chest on show

MOD.

Definitely two different Griffs, around 11:00 ish,
One with the top up heading for New Mill (Mr Happy)
The other parking up outside "Age Concern" in Holmfirth

I had a good run out in the Pink Peril on Sunday, I promise I will get out one day soon to meet you all.

Regards

Hmmm, yep, that'll have been me can't think why I might have been looking miserable, I wasn't in a bad mood, in fact, a pretty good mood, I was in the Griff after all and the sun was shining... are you sure more ... no, i was definately in a pretty good mood

Glad you thought the car sounded good. Were you in your TVR? I didn't hear it and I usually do.

Sorry

You would not have heard the TVR on Saturday. You may have caught the sound of a rabied Westie trying to escape the car to savage a big poodle at the crossing, dulled only by the death rattle of my Transit engined Mondeo diesel.

It was Mrs Emley that said you didn't look happy. But then she thinks we are all sad when driving real cars.

PS On another Thread, are you still looking for an Architect??? If you have an idea what you want and only need your ideas detailing up for planning / construction I can probably help.

Regards
