Bruntingthorpe V-Max 21st March
Discussion
This fabled event is only a month away, we should go down in convoy if people want, meet at Wolley Edge? I think there is then talk of meeting at Leicester Forrest East on the M1, to group together and proceed to the venue.
Think it may be an early start, IIRC the first session begins at 9:30am - 10:00am......but the sleep from your mince pies should blown away by the exotic hardware on parade....Diablo, RUF Porsche 911 TT, 996 TT, Tivs of all types, and other assorted gawp mobiles. Plus the chance to get a passenger ride in them at full chat

be supercareful on the way, sometimes the gents in blue are out in force when they know there is something going on. Plenty of chance for mental speeds when we get there
Ok! Yes, don't want to get carried away with then leading to to and unfortunately
Craig, how am I looking on the reserve list? Or not as the case may be
I must say, I really need this event this time round.
Hopefully, the end of the runway will be bereft of the usual fleet of unsold Daewoos and Jawa transporters, allowing that extra critical slab of yardage whereupon sufficient hoonage might deliver more than the odd 190 mile an hour reading...or in Dazmuno's case, 200 ( sod!)
Fingers resolutely crossed re the conditions, too.

The fabled event is rapidly approaching.
(Bites end of cigar) I think we need to get a plan together (Spits end of cigar out)
How about meeting at 8am Woolley Edge services, then proceeding to Leicester Forrest East to pick up the other PH'ers?
It has been a good afternoon; got confirmation that the chim is on the track at Brunters (passenger rides gladly given ). Plus I picked the car up late this pm from HHC.....wow it feels faster and starts popping and banging a couple of octaves lower than before.
Esteemed Rob Roderick, are you going to Brunters? I will pick you up if you wish.
Also, is Josh (the student) from Leeds coming along?
Best Regards
Martyn.

Any fellow referring to the ultimate thespianic segue from this colossus of board walkers is immediately and passionately elevated to the top table of monumental elders.
You can take your moon landings, VE day, even mauling of the hun by the kickage of a bag of wind about a piece of grass:
For me, the sight of a newly lit Havanan, supported by leather gloved hand, the inane jabberings of a baseball capped "foo," the chinking gold of a snarling, befeathered black man and the beamning Peppardian grin that foretells of a line of classicism on the cusp of delivery that the bard himself would have sacrificed minor digits to have conjoured forth, are but the stuff of dreams.
And then, the point of majesty: "Nice, BA!"
Puerille brilliance attaining literary heights not scaled since the opening delights of Mansfield Park once pummelled my consciousness into a frenzy of imagined drama.
...er, I tend to whack the anchor oot at about 185 but if there are no cars blocking the way I hope to finally crack 190 before chicken switch city.
Ludicrous quality.
