Okay, who's up for this (weather permitting)? An idea of your location would be good so we can organised a meeting place. Wooley Edge Services come to mind......

Jo - I'm looking at the Sheffield/S. Yorks crew meeting at Ladybower Inn car Park, at the start of Snake Pass - would 11.30 be suitable for you and the Leeds crowd?

The car park is opposite the area marked "PH" (how appropriate!) at the bottom right grid square on this map:- www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=419500&y=387500&z=3&sv=419500,387500&st=4&ar=N&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf&dn=844

If you are woried about getting through Sheffield, let me know and we'll se about a different route....

Briefly popping up for air before my 6.30 meeting..

Ladybower should be no problem for the Leeds crew. I can either give directions to get through the north of town, or meet you at J36 and you can follow me. If you can get to J36 by 11, I'll get you to Ladybower by half past..

Then may I suggest that the West/North Yorks people meet at Woolley Edge Services (M1 Southbound!) at 10:30am for a 10:45 am departure. We should get to J36 by 11:00. If it's okay with you PB I'll phone you as we leave and meet you enroute, the same as BT&P.

Just a thought, do we need to book for lunch if there are going to be a few of us?

venturing out of the North-East forum, is Castleton, North Yorks, miles out of your way?

We're heading there on the 15th, weather permitting... could meet you there?

Will see you lot at 10:30am at the services of wool, do I need a route? If so would someone kindly forward it to me please? Thanks.

Yours in the chill of winter

If anyone thinks they might get lost, they can always meet Rods and myself at J31 - just take the A57 towards Sheffield for half a mile or so, and we'll be in the lay-by at 10.30-ish.
