Where does your posting name come from?

Some people have some strange names that appear to bare no resemblance to their own names or the cars they drive? So where does your name come from?

(I know this sounds a dull thread, but I'm bored)

I just wanted the name AL, but it wouldn't let me have just two characters, as I was listening to some death metal at the time, I thought it fitting to put '666' at the end.

I got bored of it yesterday and changed it slightly.

Also, I own a Rover 600, so it sort of fits now.

Actually, what does the RON mean when at petrol stations it says 95 RON or 99 RON?

It comes from the unit of measurement

Was a guy called Ronald (RON to us now) when he went for a Pi55 his urine had 1 unit of Octane in it. So petrol RON is now named after Ronald. so 95RON means 95 times as much octane as Ronalds wee wee - simple
