Scameras no their way to Dick Lane, Bradford

There's been signs up for a while saying scameras are on their way, but as of this morning there's now painted marks for Truvelo cameras so it won't be long.

Hopefully though it'll mean the end of sniper vans on that stretch!

Driving back from Manchester at 2am this morning, and yes the Scamera's are now in place on Dick Lane.

Were painted grey though so not live yet!

Yep you can see the cardboard covering the lenses too if you look closely. I assume they do still have to paint them yellow? Wasn't there something mooted a while ago about them not having to do that with new ones as it'd been overturned? Might have dreamt that though...

I noticed yesterday that one of them as you drive towards thornbury is just past a tree. At the moment it's visible because the tree is bare, but in summer?

I don't for a minute think they put it there on purpose.... :synic:

Drove past at 6:30 this morning and they where painted but still had cardboard on them. Seem to remember it being a 40. Then dropped to 30 and now has four scamera's. So to get to work, when i am in manchester i go through 7 speed scamera's!!!!
