Does anyone know who the Black Circles fitting centres are in Leeds area, and any experiences? I can´t find details on their website.

Cheers.

I know there is one in guiseley. i have used them in the past, and they were spot on. They gave great advice, if you use BC, use CORPDISC1 as a voucer to get 5% off

I had mine fitted at a garage on Meanwood Road. It was a one man band place.

Yes it was a lot cheaper than the usual tyre fitters using Blackcircles, however it was somewhat lacking in facilities and I had to stand freezing my bits off whilst he changed each wheel using a trolley jack and torque wrench. May be better to leave the car with him and call back later.

Are you sure you are getting a good deal with black circles?

I needed some F1's for my Tuscan 2 wks ago. Black Circles quote £156.89 unfitted (national were £176 fitted). I went to a local place and paid £130.76 fitted.

I had the same issue and it worked out cheaper to goto your local tyre centre.
Also, not every tyre centre will fit your own bought tyres that I found out. most places will match the price.

If you proceed through the "Buy/Quote" bit of the Blackcircles site, pick your tyre and select "Buy" it asks for your postcode and gives you a list of fitters nearby. There's one listed at Hunslet Business Park, which I assume is the one off Hunslet Road behind Saab/Mitsubishi.

I've just used Blackcircles (but not the Hunslet one) to replace a punctured tyre* and found them good value and very good service. They were about 20% cheaper than my last tyre from Kwikfit and about 33% cheaper than the quote I got from BMW main dealer.

* Got a small nail through the tread of a rear tyre, which was annoying. More annoying is that you can't repair Bridgestone runflats, so it meant a new boot. Uber annoying was that the tyre in question was hardly used, having been fitted in February to replace one that got a two-inch bolt through the middle of it. So I now have a new tyre and a very expensive tyre-based plant pot. Or I might make it into a coffee table.

I had some fitted at "Gordon's Tyres" in Bramley, albeit on the mrs's steel shod almera. Couldn't tell you if they'll treat nice wheels well but the whole process was painless enough.

Black circles are quoting 127 each fitted for the front F1s, which compares to 105 unfitted from my tyres. I've rung a few local places but they aren't coming anywhere near.

Thanks for replies. I've ordered a pair of 235/40 Goodyear F1s from Black Circles for £238 inclusive to be fitted at their Hunslet place, as they seem to have reasonable reviews.

I've used Alpha UK at the town end of Gelderd Road in Leeds to fit Ebay-bought tyres. Good careful job and not expensive.
