I am selling my Boxster (yes I know, I shouldn't have bought it) and I am looking at replacing it with a late Griff 500 or Tuscan (can't decide which yet, probably depend on what is available once the Boxster has gone), the problem I have is I live on a narrow lane and the drive leading to the garage is at a right angle to the lane and I'm not 100% that either car could negotiate it.

Are there any Griff or Tuscan owners local to Driffield or visiting the area that would be prepared to take the time to see if they can negotiate the turn into the drive? Your efforts will be rewarded with beer, wine or a cup of tea if you prefer.

I have posted this on the TVR forum also.

I should be able to nip up there in the Griff, though it wont be for a few days, got to make some adjustments to the suspension for Saturday Dream Rides and get a good cleaning session in.

On evening early next week should be OK though, if you don’t get any sooner offers.

Cheers,

Simon

Hi Simon,

Thank you very much. I'm in no rush (still got the Boxster to sell) so a nice sunny evening next week sounds perfect (presuming summer will return) smile

I'll drop you an e-mail with my contact details

Cheers,

Hi Chris, Hope you and Kay are well?

I know....bought the Boxster as a compromise because Wendy just didn't like any TVR we looked at, but she hasn't been anywhere near it since we bought it.

I must say though the more I drive it the more I like it, finding myself going out for a drive most evenings that the sun is shining. I don't know what to do confused

Kay is taking the kids on Holiday with her sisters and offspring next week.....WooHoo...how did i get out of that one....Golf every night me thinks!!!
Anyway, i will come round some time and you can have a blast in my 993 if it helps. Not as clean as your Boxster...you know...a bit more rough around the edges....could send you down the 911 RS of Twin Turbos etc route?

Hi Chris,

You lucky, lucky man a week of freedom.

There is absolutely nothing wrong about your car, it's a nice motor. Would be nice to go for a blast in it, you can have a go in the Boxster see how they compare.

Feel free to call round any time, the kettle is always on and you know my phone numbers.
