storage for a trailer

I'd be interested in any answers too. Don't have a trailer (nor the space to store one) but every time I rent a trailer I ponder the cost of storing a trailer -vs- hiring, depending how many track days I do.

My only thought so far (apart from caravan storage places) is possibly approaching the council to rent a council garage - I would suspect you'd be on a big waiting list though behind tenants etc.
