Just thinking, Isn't Yorkshire a good place for us lot?

Over the past few months I've been to PH meets, a couple of trackdays, met a few of you lot. Within just a couple of miles of my house, there is monthly meets by the Westfield lot, a Volkswagen club, etc etc, and a very popular biker cafe if your into that kind of stuff. There is plenty of high level racing on a Croft, and regular events at Harewood hill, aswell as lots of car shows at Harewood house over Summer. Other things like CITP, and on top of that, lots of very good driving roads, with both cities, plains, mountains/moorland, and coastal scenery.

I dont mind the miles I do as Im only a few mins off the M62 and work is the same time off the A1/M18 but I couldnt do that many miles on normal roads.

I used to drive from Harrogate to Huddersfield, which is only 35 miles but it would take me 90 mins to get home on an evening.

I live East Yorkshire and work in North Yorkshire - Ahh that blast early morning from beverley to Pickering then onwards and upwards along the A169 to Whitby.

Just wish fuel was a tad cheaper!!!

Not just Rich Dave ... also thanks to Chris for Cars in the Park, StuB for all the dawn raids and the karting, Ben for starting the monthly PH pub meet which is a good regular event now.

And of course, all the people that regularly drag their backsides out of bed and turn up

Our 13 month old decided that 4:30am was a good time to start the day this morning, once we were all up and sorted I decide to go for a blast across the Yorkshire Wolds at 6:30am. Brilliant twisty roads with the occasional straight and best of all no traffic biggrin

I LOVE LIVING IN YORKSHIRE
