I went to the last one, and had a fantastic time.
I wasn't even in a car!
I spent the day watching, ogling cars and chatting to people. From what I gathered it seemd pretty good, big range of cars, good track, very little to crash into, only problem is stone chips apparently.
Can't wait to have a trackday worthy car, one day I'll be there!
I'll bob up on saturday for another watch, if any PH'ers are going let me know I'll have a wander over for a chat, and try and get some pics of your car.

127db is fooking loud!
Bet that is awesome. Once drove through a small village in an old Griff with a very non standard exhaust, it was hilarious. Car alarms going off all over, children screaming, brilliant.
Didn't see anyone checked last time I was there, but I guess they may have done some checks first thing at sign on.
With it being so open aswell, it would be easy to spot, unlike a regular circuit with hills and trees to mask the noise.

Just to add - its not the people running the trackday being Noise Nazis...
its the NIMBY's who moved house next door to an airfield that probably pre dates WW2 (complete with big f__k off war-planes parked all over) and then complain about the noise.

Yup who almost always have the council there.
I can give names and phone numbers, is an ex's parents
There is also a councillor who lives on a small row of cottages next door.
But dont let the noise issue put you off going, fantastic day out.

They are not banned but the noise limited has to be policed vigorously hence why TVRs keep failing.
PS 127db - BNG noisiest TVR contender?

Yes I was a contender at the last BNG, but just got pipped by a Cerby in the last HOUR of so - you may remember I was the one whole Decattted the car without the use of any tools (excepy me -what a tool), just a big flame
Since then I have had the car decatted - properly by automedon (re chipped etc) - now a little louder !!
I should be heading to chatsworth - to make some noise
Nick
Anyone know whose the Chevette was? And anything about it? Think it was a HSR but it didnt have faired in lights.
Anyway - wow, that thing was oversteer tastic! of all the cars there it looked like the most fun, the driver was giving it a scandinavian flick into the 2nd corner and it sideways all the way round till you join the main runway again.
It was making me giggle so much!
