Popped into DriveStYle on Wed last and saw the gorgeous silver wiesmann roadster they have.

Im told that they are to be wiesmann dealers and there will be RHD soon.

Wow! One fabulous looking car. £75K is a bit more than my budget allows though - Peter where are you?

Nearly bought one once.

I missed out on a very cheap project about 2 years ago, then in frustration went e-type hunting, couldn't find one that really clicked but was very tempted with one, went to see an elan sprint the day after and bought it. I made the wrong choice lol, the e-type may have crippled me financially but with what they are fetching now it would not have been a bad decision, and I still lust after an E.

I had 2, the second one for 9 years. Great cars. The key is to find one that has no rot. All the mechanicals are easy to fix but rot is expensive. Still amongst the best looking cars ever made in S1 FHC guise IMHO.

Well I'm wanting a resto project to sit in the back of the garage and work on as and when, my ideal (like most other people sadly hence the price) is a series 1.5 drop head, came so close to buying one up near malton but walked away as it was just too messed around with, rot is one thing bodged repairs are another.
