Depends whether recognised stamps in the service book is important to you for resale Phil.

I have had this problematical decision to go through for my Griff over the last few weeks. I steered away from SCC as at nearly £600 for a 12k service it is main dealer price.

I am now booked in to TorqueRVT in Northwhich as he is a TVR nut, has years of main dealer experience and more importantly comes very highly recommended by several Pistonheaders that I know and trust (inc. Jools at TrackCarSolutions)

12k service using factory schedule for £300 ... which let's face it, is no less than it should be.

Ian will also provide a courtesy car or arrange collection.

Cheers AL, I had forgotten about TorgueRVT and in fairness I think his reputation is better than alot of dealers. The car has a part indie part dealer history all well know indies as well so I'd like to continue in that vain.

Used to been known (and still is) as "Hannah's Garage" or "Jag Garage"

It all started with my Grandad (Jock) specialising in Jags many many years back........but now in his late 70's he's (well meant to be) retired.....

Alastair (my uncle) then moved into our smaller workshop & carried on with the existing Jag customers while Dad (Andrew) took over the main garage & decided to join the Bosch Dealership to bring the garage more upto date with todays cars.

Between the 3 of them there's a hell of a lot of experience..........

We're one familiy that lives & breathes cars!!!

cool someone call?

Glad you have decided to use Torque. Having met Ian he seems a good genuine guy that loves making TVRs run as good as they can.

I have left my car with him for a week so that he has plenty of time to do the various jobs so I'll let you know how it goes
