I did that at the RAC Rally in the mid 90's at Temple Newsam

Saved myself £5 and stood in cowshit...great times

Might just make it, my god it's a long time since i visited Croft, i remenber a Mr C Meek inverting his FF over the Shell advert hoarding and landing 'wheels' down in the field.
Also remember two 'TRIDENTS' in the car park||
It was also a 'Bank Holiday' meet TVR had a stand there with the Vixen / Grantura on display, i was still 'flexable' (youngh enough) to get in, BUT there was no way the fishing tackle would fit, back to the MGB.
Now older/ not much wiser, me and the V8S might just make a return.

From Championship Admin

Something like this:
09:15 Practice starts - all drivers get two practice runs around the
circuit
Lunch
After lunch
12:30 - 13:00 Official timed runs start
The runs for all classes (many different types of cars, not just TVRs) will finish at about 5pm.
Presentations and prizegiving etc. about 17:30.

as it is only an hour from home

I will see if any other West Yorks TVRCC lot are going

Maybe we can all join up at Wetherby and have a steady 70mph run up the A1?

Its been mentioned to Rich & Karl and I think its in the calendar so we'll see if we can drum up another convoy as Trickie suggested

I might go, not been up to Croft for too long now, last time was for some rallycross.

What kind of event is it?

I live near Wetherby too, so will be keeping an eye on this - if you are going up in convoy I'll try and make sure Im about at the same time, happy to take pictures of you all flying by if I can!

Its for the TVR Speed Championship - A couple of PH'ers are running I do believe

It's part of the British sprint championship, real mix of cars, porsche championship draws a big entry normally and you also get some rather quick single seaters, similar to the Harewood meeting.
