Yorkshire to Pistonfest drive

From last year's experience, going down the M1 adds a fair bit on to the trip as opposed to going down the A1 so it may be any idea to use the A1. Maybe meet at Noon at the first services south of the A1/M18 junction?

I am not going down until Sunday morning now so someone else please take over any arrangements

I think I'll be getting a ride down with tomtvr, but I could drive down myself yet. However i may need some help in taking down a crate of beer if the boot on his isnt big enough

Friday or Saturday?

If Saturday, I'll join you at some obvious point, if you use M1 or A1.

The Midlands lot are going Friday, whcih will cost me a days wages

Bumped this just to see if it wants to tie in with Willyworm's post.

I had let it slip as it is a long way from definite whether I will be able to make it or not, leaving Vic with a 5 week old baby and a 4 yr old an all that.

It may involve a rather large sacrifice ... like MegaHoon or something!

Any chance you'll be adding a Spen Common Lane joining point (A!/A64 junction)?

There are three that I know of from NEPH-land and several, I assume would find this point useful from the Leeds and York areas.

Can't get get out of work early enough. I'll be traveling there on Saturday morning. There's four of my family in three cars plus byff so far.
