China Chef on Birley Moor Rd is pretty good. Not the prettiest of shops but the food banquet we got was top rate.

Wok This Way on Fullwood Rd close to I think the Ranmoor Tandoori and what used to be Trippets 2 but I think is now called something else.. All good and a couple of decent pubs around there too, (many a happy evening resulting in me having one too many and ending up deciding to take a short cut home through Endcliffe Park - never a good idea..)

New Hing Wah always does me proud.

They're on School Road in Crookes.

Wok This Way is also good.

I completely forgot about my search!

I live right in the city centre - kebabville.

Might try the one up near ranmoor.

Do any of them deliver?

You should get yourself down to the Oriental Buffet place by Ponds Forge. Take a big plate and an empty stomach. And no matter how much you eat there's always enough room for 4 flavours of ice cream!

Try the Zing Vaa then .... in fact have a walk there, eat and walk home.

edit - no offence 'vet but those buffet chinese in town are all bloody horrible. Quantity yes but zero quality. The aforementioned restaurant you actually get fillet beef done to your taste (medium rare in my case) not some dried up buffet cheap crap.

Just my 2p.

in my opinion, forget zing vah. since the last owners did time for tax evasion, and it was sold to someone else it has really gone down hill.
if you want THE BEST chinese takeaway in south yorkshire, go and see tina at DIM SUM, on london road, opposite eylyn supermarket. they will not deliver, but i can reckomend the ha gow, sui mai, char sui bau, wortip, shanghai su lung bau, pai gwat and sui ap ho fun. enjoy.
if you are eating out DIM SUM and JADU are by far the two best chinese restourant in south yorkshire., or GLAMOROUS and THE NEW EMPORER in manchester.

Really? Didnt know that old bean

I must admit, I like Chinese food myself. Especially when I was dieting down when training, always made a good, protien packed (always chicken or turkey ) and filling meal without too much hassle!
