local garage rant

I thought I would try my local garage nearest the village as my clutch went last night.

They said it was a big job and would take 3DAYS!!!!!!

I just laughed down the phone at them, how can garages get away with trying it on with people.

Having to tow the car to my usual one further up to York now, he said he will have it done by the end of the day when I dropped it off.

Do lots of gargages try it on with the unknowing motorist? and why?

Because half the time,they probably get away with it

Its a shame if I didn't know what was involved and what work was needed, like many don't....then mmost would have accepted it
