A chance to say goodbye to the factory and have a good squirt down the seafront at Blackpool.

The Main meet is at 11am at Stargate Dunes Blackpool
A drive down the seafront follwed by a pass atthe hallowed factory gates.
Lunch then home.

Anyone up for a drive from Yorks via Settle and the Dales?
I suggest a start point of Harogate (the Nelson Inn Skipton Road) at 9.30am?

I'm up for meeting on saturday with anyone going to the Ball.

See thread www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=342377&f=13&h=0&p=2

We could meet up with those coming from up North, than all meet outside Blackpool for a grand entry.

Pick any spot Rich that is safe to pull over.

If you post up the actual route I will have a drive out for a butchers and make sure an area is safe for cars to stop.

But you know me, have car will travel.

Hi Rich,

I could meet you at the end of the Skipton by-pass as you start the A59. From memory there is a lay-by but I will check that tomorrow.

Next question is what would the ETA be in Skipton give or take 30mins.

Paul, this is the link for multimap.

www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&X=395000&Y=450000&width=700&height=400&gride=&gridn=&srec=0&coordsys=gb&db=&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&local=&localinfosel=&kw=&inmap=&table=&ovtype=&keepicon=&zm=0&scale=100000&multimap.x=423&multimap.y=135

The A629 is the by-pass you came down the other day when we met by the VW garage.

Looking at the map, the A59 crosses the A629 towards Broughton, I am sure there is a safe lay-by on the left along that road towards Broughton. Seems a good place to pull over and meet and if there is a few cars coming they will not have to make any diversions off the intended route.
