Hello all,

Well, a bit about myself.

I'm Jonathan, a detailer from the north west.

Been interested in cars seen I can remember. My dad has had a series of gorgeous cars, currently has a TVR Sagaris.
I tend to like tinkering, i have a mk3 golf currently, soon to see a 20vT engine. Hopefully buying a Supra TT within 6 months due to a couple of friends having them.

reason i'm on the yorkshire section, is i travel with my work and also have family in settle i visit quite a bit.

Although not new to detailing, i will be fully setup in the new year as Pure Detail. My site is currently being designed as we chat.

So if you have any Car Care questions you need help with, or want your car detailing just ask away or pm.

will host some pics of my project car soon

thanks
Jonny

Welcome

Would have been nicer if you'd just said Hello without the business plug though ... a lot of us use Glynn O'Donnel (Waxmaster) who is superb

You bloody detailers are popping up everywhere

Think I'll have to start up soon too, got one of them Autoglym packs from last christmas, a few buckets, and one of them hoselock spray guns, sorted hehe

So are either of you detailers mobile yet?

As above, Glyn has had lots of positive feedback on here, is mobile with his service, and his prices seem really good too. Isn't it really hard starting off doing this when there are already well established and experienced detailers out there who turn up, wash the car while your at work or lying in bed, and leave without you having to even go near your car...!?

Just curious because all the pro's I've seen are mobile, ergo that must be the most effective business model!?

Sounds good

What do customers do all day then if they come to you, just sit around? Curious as to how drive-to detailings work when people are miles from home and without their car.

Either way, good luck with it all...

Well, they can either drop the car and have someone collect them or they can have lessons.

Mainly mobile though.

I can't afford Zymol!

PD - Glyn is arguably Zymol's best detailer in the country yes
