Just thought I should let you know if any of you are around the Queensbury/ Keighley area, there was some nut who tried to follow my girlfriend home tonight about 9pm. Followed her from lightcliffe, all the way up to Queensbury, and when she drove around Queensbury she couldn't lose him.
Cleverly she didn't drive home, but called me on the mobile, and I set off into Queensbury. I come across her waiting to turn left in front of me with the nut behind her. So I flashed her out, and went straight behind her. Then stopped right in front of him.. Looked boyo in the eyes, some late 20s early 30s chav-a-like with a burberry type cap on..
He then makes to reverse, and I set off, right behing gf. Where we come to a stop at the lights. Nut then pulls along side me and mimes like he is taking a note.. then drives off and turns left up towards Keighley. He would have been following her for a good 15 or 20 mins. She didn't cut him up or anything like that in her A class merc. Really spooked her. Actually he didn't look right when I looked him in the eyes, maybe like he was on something ?

I don't know if I should post his reg number here, which I made a note of, but he was driving a black audi a3, 2.0tdi quattro sport (as checked via his number on the rac website) it was an 02 plate.

Just wanted to warn everyoine in case you are int he area..

Would it be a good idea to report it to local police? There may have been other repots of him

Definitely... straight to the police. Might stop him doing something worse ... or help catch him if God forbid he actually did something worse.

He should be reported for wearing a burburry cap for starters!

But definitly worth reporting to the police to prevent anything happening or happening again. Some poor girl may not realise and pull up into a badly lit quiet place, and that doesn't bare thinking about.

Well done on keeping your cool with the whole situation. I don't think I could have restrained myself from following him for a while and seeing what he did and where he ended up. Might even have felt compelled to have words with him, which by the way you've described him could have ended up being a very silly and wreckless thing to do.

Yeah, I've been thinking about what would have happened if I'd followed him, I'd have had to 'abandon' the gf to do that. Not good really.
Funny thing was I don't think he was expecting what happened to happen (I look a bit bouncerish, I'm told), and I obvously scared him.
hope the plod pulled him last night somewhere..the loser
