Anyone going to this www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=321499&f=13&h=0

Possibly taking my Tam back to meet her makers - not 100% sure yet but next time I may have to cross most of Europe so I kind of think I should make the effort to thank the factory workers after driving TVRs for 20 years.

Thinking we could meet around Leeds somewhere?

Whaddyfink?

If anyone is going from Yorkshire (I live East/North) and has a spare passenger seat I would love to go to this as a long time TVR fan I just haven't got round to purchasing a tuscan yet but hope to shortly!

Oliver if you can get to my place which happens to be on the way to Blackpool you can have a ride in the Cerbera. Sorry its not a Tuscan but at least you know it shifts lol. PS bring the Porsche if your coming as the wife loves them and I need a few brownie points.

Richard if your going via Skipton to Blackpool we could meet up on the way there.

Hi Michael,

Skipton is possible - yes.

It's actually quicker to go on the M62 from Leeds to the M6 then M56 but it's less miles via Skipton.

What time / place were you thinking?

Best place would be at the end of the by-pass at Kildwick... www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&X=400000&Y=445000&width=500&height=300&gride=&gridn=&srec=0&coordsys=gb&db=&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&local=&localinfosel=&kw=&inmap=&table=&ovtype=&keepicon=&zm=0&scale=50000&out.x=12&out.y=9 That way its fast drive over to Colne etc then onto Blackpool. As for the best time its when you can make it? I will look on autoroute.

If we go via the M65 it will take an hour but add to that fuggle factor of an hour and time to look at the cars there, we are looking at 10am at Kildwick as my best judgement.

OK - Kildwick at 10am looks good.

If you PM me your mobile via my profile I'll ring you around 9am to confirm.

Anyone else want to throw a sickie on Friday and join us?

I don't think there will be another Tiv event like this again.

Hi Ian hope things are fine with the car after the weekend. Shame we did not have time to chat but I saw you arrive then we where off.

The location is on the multimap link and the time will be 10am. I will post up a meet point for the cars tomorrow.

Keep it smooth, keep it fast and keep it balanced and when it goes tits up and your seen blame the shocks. See you Friday and I promise to take it a lot slower LOL. By the way, Kildwick round-about at the left hand side there is a large VW garage, looks good for a safe meeting point.

Yes a full blown red rose and its going back home this friday.

More you drive the car the more you learn and next year the wife and I will be taking it onto the track for a bit of legal fun. They are without doubt the most amazing cars and the only car make that I can look at in the rear mirror and say wow, 'well apart from the noble on the weekend'.
