I've just booked a couple of very cheap flights from Leeds/Bradford airport to Geneva at www.jet2.com. Total return flights cost £49 inc taxes and cc fee for outward on the 12th and back on the 16th March if you're quick.

Rumour has it that there will be three new TVR models making their debut appearance at this event.

Geneva is a beautiful city situated on the bank of the fabulous lake Leman on the border of France and Switzerland. The motor show runs from the 8th to the 18th March 2007 and should be a treat for TVR owners and others alike.

Anyone fancy sharing the costs of a hire car for the 4 days? An Opel Vectra 4 door with aircon and manual box will be about £10/day each for 4 days.

Or for a really cheap deal, we can forget the car and book in at the Hotel Median for £25 a night each in twin rooms and be within walking distance of the airport with it's excellent free city transfer shuttle, and only 2 miles from the palexpo centre for the car show. Walking distance to the spectacular lakeside thrown in free.

The cheap hotels will fill early, so don't delay, reply today.

Can I just say that the Geneva Motor Show is easily the best show in Europe and well worth a trip. Much better than our torid affairs, even including the revamped Ex-Cel one this year in London town.

All the major guys are there, the city is swimming with money, Palexpo where it's based actually adjoins the airport, it couldn't be easier even to do it as a day trip from the UK. Entry last year was about 8 quid if I remember, so it's cheap too....

And........in March you are 45 mins in the car from Portes du Solei so you can ski!

Yours,
A Fan.

MrsS and I will be going with some older folk. Not sure when, but we were advised to avoid the Saturday/Sunday.

Hmmm, well, if TVR are moving abroad, I guess the presence of three new TVR models at this event is not a foregone certainty. I'm still going though. irked

I think we should all chip in to hire some camera equipment and let Rog get on his soapbox and put Foreskins to rights about his recent move!!!
