Hi all,

First post in the Yorkshire section I think - I have defected to the dark side. Lancastrian now living near Sowerby Bridge, Halifax area. Anyone else about...?

Don't say that...he was seriously looking at one..!

Hopefully that phase of insanity has passed now and the old Rupert has returned.

I did consider a Porsche but saw the light and the RS500 is here to stay. yes

It's lovely round here just to the West of "The Fax" I am out the top of a little village called Triangle where the pub just got destroyed by a lorry crashing into it weeping Of all the bloody buildings he could have chosen. Honestly.

Anyways, Even if the RS500's head gasket is on the way out (in for a new one plus a belt and tensioner today/tomorrow) I've always got the Civic to head out in. So where are you lot...? Local or elsewhere - Yorkshire's a big place. yes

Isn't that bit more like a quarantine pen for Yorkshire?

Ahhh at the end of A58 (think its that anyway). The fun driving way of coming back over from the wrong side of the hills. Nice little village as well from what i've seen of it

I have never heard it called "The Fax" before. Surely that alludes to the fact that Halifax might posess a degree of street cred!

The Fax is my pet name for the dodgeville that is Halifax although it comes as no surprise it needed a Lancastian to inject credibility into West Yorkshire

Must say, been here a few weeks and so far, loving it. Further from some friends but nearer to others - it does mean I have to take the train into Manchester though. Bah.
